This Technology Association of Louisville presentation will take a look at how healthcare and blockchain can be part of a healthy ecosystem. Do you keep hearing about Web 3 and Blockchain? This translates to about one in every four dollars spent. Decentralized technologies, such as blockchain, offer an opportunity to empower collaboration to address this waste and bring efficenies the healthcare industry desparately needs. Speaker Bio:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kyle Culver is a thought leader in the application of blockchain technologies to the healthcare industry. For the past 15 years, he has demonstrated his passion for software engineering across a wide variety of IT roles concentrating on development, integration, architecture, and quality assurance. In his current role as Director of Emerging Technologies at Humana Inc., Culver is a key member of the firm\u2019s Technology Advancement team and a winner in the Blockchain challenge<\/a> hosted by the Department of Health and Human Services\u2019 Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). He is a co-founder of the Synaptic Health Alliance<\/a>, holds Bachelor of Science and Masters of Engineering degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, as well as an MBA in Entrepreneurship, all from the University of Louisville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
