Applying her experience working in elite level performance and using evidence-based strategies, she teaches individuals and organizations how to minimize disruption, maximize potential and work, and optimize performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Before transitioning into private consulting, Dr. Shannon worked for the Cincinnati Reds, the University of Louisville Athletic Department, and IMG Academy. She spent the first 8 years of her career in academia as a department chair at Tennessee Wesleyan University and a faculty member at West Virginia University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Shannon has been invited to speak to teams, organizations, and universities across North America and throughout Europe and she has authored and co-authored numerous book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles.
