So join us on May 7th, the 1st Thursday in May, to hear from Dawn Yankeelov, CEO of TALK & Aspectx, for “What is Being Discussed on the Hill Regarding AI.” Yankeelov has just returned from the TECNA (Tech Councils of North America) Flyin where she and other TALK representatives visited our Congressmen and Senators’ offices to discuss AI and also impacts to areas such as healthcare, immigration, and more. Come learn what may affect your tech work in the months to come, and get up to speed on new policy anticipated. She is the founder of TALK, our non-profit, employer-led area tech council, and has been active in tech policy activities for more than 12 years now, on behalf of the Louisville region. Her early policy actions also assisted in putting in new cybersecurity curriculum for state education options tied to K-12 students, back in 2017. She has spoken at area events on AI impact to our region across a number of conferences, and continues to advocate for important policy. She continues to work, under Aspectx, her company of 30+ years, with AI-powered startups, and other tech-centric corporations through her daily marketing and consulting work.
