9 AM Morning Keynote. Topic: “Why is Endpoint Security So Important?–Dwayne Smith, Global Director of Security Engineering, Cummins Inc.

Dwayne Smith joined Cummins Inc. in May of 2016 as the Director, Global Cybersecurity Engineering. In this role, Dwayne established and directs the strategic definition, design, and implementation of the next generation cybersecurity technologies and infrastructure protecting Cummins global and regional networks, systems, and data.

A native of Kentucky, Dwayne possesses more than 20 years of experience supporting commercial, defense, and intelligence organizations. Dwayne attended Berea College and the University of Maryland. Prior to completing his degree, Dwayne enlisted in the U.S. Navy and completed the Navy Nuclear Power Program. After service aboard a nuclear submarine, Dwayne transitioned to the communication and cyber security fields.

As a civilian, Dwayne has supported the establishment of multiple Tier 1 U.S. Government cyber centers; served as a technical advisor for “The Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative” under the Bush and Obama administrations; and held the role of a Chief Information Security Officer where he provided senior level management, development, and implementation of corporate cyber security programs; while also guiding the development and execution of cyber security and insider threat service offerings to U.S. Government and commercial customers.

10 AM A Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Discussion Panel. Topic: “How Do We Navigate CMMC? Facilitator: Dawn Yankeelov, Executive Director, Technology Association of Louisville Kentucky.  Panelists:  Helen Patton, Advisory CISO, Cisco; Jason Allen, CISO, Northern Kentucky University; and Jeremy Miller, CEO, Lionfish Cyber Security. 

11 AM:  A Government Panel. Topic:  “How Should We Define Data Care for Government & For Its Citizens?   A Government Panel Explaining How We Protect Our Governments, and What Agencies Can Help Corporations With Counsel. Panelists Include: Klint Walker, US Department of Homeland Security, CyberAdvisory Program For Our Region; James Meece, Chief Information Security Officer, Louisville Metro Government; and David Carter, KY CISO, KY Office of Technology.

1 PM Topic: A Cyber Resilience Deep Dive for Your Company  These commentators will discuss and banter with our audience about network segmentation, end user management, and incident response planning and more. Commentators: Da-Wyone Haynes, Cyber Product Owner, Custom Data Solution–Data Analytics and Monitoring, Aegon Global Technology Operations and Scott Augenbaum, Retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent/Cyber Division.  Augenbaum has become the go-to cybercrime expert on FOX, ABC, CBS, CNN and HLN in recent years.

2 PM Afternoon Keynote. Topic: “A Look at What National Security Means for US Industry”  Heather McMahon, National Security & Counter Intelligence Expert & Solution Builder, Springfield, VA. She served as a Senior Director of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board at the Executive Office of the President through 2020.
