A TALK Panel Discussion: Probing & Understanding the Data Center Equation for the Region on Oct. 22nd from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Flashcube Building, 7th Floor Conf. Rm

The rules and regulations, policy, myths and debates surrounding data center expansion are playing out in our region, so TALK will bring you a panel weighing in on some of the pros, cons, myths, legislation proposed and on the books, and what’s ahead in this deep dive.

As we proceed into this age of AI growth and acceleration, all agree that data centers are going to expand to serve us. But data centers have become a major economic issue across the US as the AI economy rushes forward, and construction continues to rise.

Data centers have sparked all kinds of debates leading to outright bans in some counties, discussion around our electric grid and consumer rates, water usage, property values, jobs — before, during and after, and concerns that impact rural economies as well as city life.

A team of seasoned tech professionals will examine the landscape of data center activity, what’s happening in our commonwealth, and what facts you can take away after a night of discussion.

Join us for some BBQ and question/answer panel discussion on Oct. 22nd and learn more about the data center equation!
